At Middle Child Bar, we don’t play by the usual rules of “bar” or “restaurant.”
We’re part community club part chicken house: an in-between space where food, drinks, music, and people all collide. A place where dinner turns into dancing, strangers become friends, and dessert might come before the appetisers.

WHO WE ARE
Middle Child Bar sits on Middle Road, right in the heart of Bugis; brought to life by the slightly funky minds of the 21Moonstone Neighbours Group.
We built this space out of our favourite things:
people-watching, fridge-opening, wine-drinking, art-gazing, eating with bellies full while the music keeps going.
All jammed into one little corner, splashed with funky seasoning, and served with love.
Because Middle Child Bar is for the ones who don’t quite fit into neat boxes–overlooked sometimes, forgotten maybe –but always full of flavour and full of heart.
THE CHICKEN HOUSE
At the heart of Middle Child Bar is our chicken house.
Chicken done every way we love it: fried, grilled, or stacked between buns. Loud flavours, generous portions, and just the right touch of chaos.
Food made for sharing (and fighting over), eaten with your hands, your mates, or whoever you just met at the next table.
It’s comfort food without the stiffness.
Food that brings people together: the way a community club should.
Our drinks are easy, curious, and meant to be explored. Open the fridge, see what’s new, grab something unexpected.
Wine that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

By day, our sunlit corner with big ol’ windows is built for people-watching, long catch-ups, cheeky date nights, or even a sneaky work email (if you must).
By sundown, the vibes wine up. Funky grooves, DJ nights, and that unmistakable f***-all energy settle in.
